The Mrs and I are in the process of our estate planning and the group we signed on with uses Altruist.com for the creation/management of their client’s retirement accounts. I have connected Altruist in my Tiller console and some data is transferred. However, the following has been the outcome:
- All account balances @ Altruist are lumped into a single strange account#: xxxxange
- No transactions have been gathered, possibly b/c of 2FA, possibly b/c of the types of transactions (ACAT transfers)
Does anyone have experience with Altruist wrt to Tiller ?
Hi @ramerkw have you already contacted support about this? If this does not reflect how your accounts present at the Altruist.com site then there could be a data quality issue which needs to be escalated to the data provider.
My financial advisor transferred us from Schwab to Altruist in December. I have had problems ever since with getting accurate data from Altruist. I have 3 accounts there. When I requery, I get the totals on one of the three accounts, but the other two accounts show a number that is actually the total for all three of the accounts. Very odd. I have reported this to support and they say it can take a long time to get a response from the data provider. My financial advisors has also sent an inquiry directly to Altruist, but has not gotten a timely response.
Out of curiosity, are there any Tiller users that are getting accurate data feeds from Altruist?
As a beta user I am able to use alternate aggregator with Altruist. This alternate seems sufficient.
