Cash flow or Spending money spreadsheet

The main reason why I decided to use Tiller is that I was hoping for a better way to see how much extra money we will have at the end of the month to add to savings, plan for a trip, or do something fun. While the budget helps some, it’s not quite enough. I’ve tried using the Spending Money sheet and can’t get it to work. When I started typing this up I came across this old post How much can I spend today? | Cash Flow, Budget, Bills, Debt, and Savings Tracker with Projections | Alexandra Wilson, CFP® | 2019 Tiller Builders Challenge
It sounds like that spreadsheet would be perfect but it’s out of commission.

Does anyone have a sheet like the one listed in that link or know of one similar?

Unfortunately, there are sometimes community created sheets that do not maintain support, or in this case seem to be no longer available. I am not sure of a spreadsheet with that kind of detail off the top of my head. But I did find this one, a monthly budget calendar (< link to post) probably not fully what you need, but it does show some - the cumulative monthly spending. I know that all of those solutions are available at least in a basic form, but are individual sheets.

Not sure how you manage the surplus or savings but i use the category tracker from: Docs: Category Tracker were on the top left it shows you the net income and expenses and cash flow. where one can see the amounts saved for a period by changing the start and end dates.

I generally use it to see what’s the actual expense, income, and net for a period and use something similar to a net worth sheet to see total assets overall.

But if you want to see the amounts encumbered for a trip you can try the sinking fund on [Show and Tell] Sinking Fund and Mega Savings Goal Tracker (YNAB-Style)
