# Converting from Excel to Google Sheets

I started in excel because that was what I was most familiar with, but after reading some of the comments in the community I would like to switch to Goggle sheets. Is there a way to easily do this conversion or I do I have to start over with Google Sheets.

Hi @Spence,

You can use the same subscription/account to use Google Sheets (in case you were unsure of that).

You’d first want to start with a Google Sheet, fill it with data using the Tiller Money Feeds add-on, and then if you’ve already categorized data in Excel you can just clear the data the Google Sheets add-on filled and then copy/paste your Categories and Transactions from Excel to Google Sheets.
