Hello! I am trying to figure out how to do a sheet similar to the Monthly Analysis template but that includes transfer types to show at the bottom under the expenses section. It would not have an impact on the cash flow, but it would list out all the transfer types by their category. I want to make a copy of the Monthly Analysis sheet and just add to the bottom, but I cannot figure out how to code that in. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
The Live Profit and Loss template could work also, and actually might be the preferred template to use. Again, I would need to figure out how to code in the transfers to the bottom and not have them affect the cash flow calculations.
This is a bit beyond my financial understanding, but I wanted to welcome you to the forum and hopefully someone with a better understanding of transfer types can assist!
Is transfer not showing because it’s a transfer or because you chose “Hide From Reports” on the Categories sheet? Do you want to show all hidden categories or just Transfer?
They are not showing because the type is transfer, they are not selected for hide from reports. I’m looking to just pull in the transfer types, very similarly to how the income and the expense are grouped, below the expenses. I just don’t want them to impact the cash flow.
Ah. My earlier search didn’t find the right cell because the column was hidden. In Cell X9 delete the clause INDIRECT(R7)<>“Transfer”, It will then show up under income or expense depending on how you categorized it in Categories.
