Hello. I truly love the Tiller Foundation templates and am a new user. I especially love the “P&L Report” for Excel! However, I have two issues in the excel version. After downloading, copy to excel workbook tab, and update the workbook links to my own file, I see a formula error that I don’t understand (I’m pretty savy with Excel, but these formulas take it to a whole other level).
- Column “T”, for “Cat Line” under Category Hierarchy: For some reason it is duplicating a category line (#16 for me) assigning to two different categories (Auto-Car Service & Auto-Gas), so that under the report, is does not show the duplicated line (Auto-Gas) for me. I have no idea why this is happening or how to fix it.
- Report area under expenses (Auto) same group, the conditional format is bolding & grey line for a category, when it should not be bolded or grey.
The google sheets version does not have this issue; but I MUCH prefer Excel over google sheets.
Help?
'=MAP(INDEX(U6#,1),P6#,LAMBDA(type,gindex,IF(type=“Income”,(gindex2)+ROW(gindex)-ROW(cat_line),(gindex2)+ROW(gindex)-ROW(cat_line)+IF(INDIRECT(CHAR(64+COLUMN(category_layout_type))&ROW(type)-1)=“Income”,2,0))+1)) <— this is the formula under Col. “T” for “Cat Line” that assigned same # to two different categories.
Thank you so much!
Alisa
