Can 2025 tagged transaction be added to 2026 Total Amount column? For example, some 2025 transactions are tagged “Storage”, and some 2026 transactions are also tagged “Storage”. Can the tagged 2025 transactions show on the 2026 “Storage” in the the Total Amount column?
I am assuming you are looking at the Total Amount Column on the Tags Report.
In the upper left corner, you can choose the Dates that you want to apply to the Tags Report. If you choose custom, you can select 1/1/2025 and 12/31/2026 to see all the Storage Tags for 2025 and 2026.
Thank you. The 2025 budget is a separate sheet. Can the 2026 Tags Report spreadsheet import tags from the 2025 spreadsheet?

As far as I know, there is not a way to have the report look at 2 different spreadsheets.
I have 2 different spreadsheets with multiple years in them. One is 2019-2022, the other is 2023-2026. Later this year, I will move the 2023 transactions and balance history entries into the older historical file, because I like to keep about 4 years in the active sheet. This lets me assign Tags over multiple years of data.
I know some people also keep multiple years in one file along with separate files for each year.
Look up the Importrange function, might be what you are looking for.
