Is Tiller right for me and if not where should I look?

I was looking for a way to build custom spreadsheets that would do the following with my financial data:

  1. Get the details on my cash accounts (Interest rate, CD Maturity dates) and display those
  2. The MCC code on credit card transactions
  3. The details on Credit Card accounts (Interest rate, available credit, statement close date, payment due date etc.).
  4. Get my investment portfolio details so I can figure out my asset allocation, set alerts to rebalance. etc.

I liked Tiller because I like the idea of just getting a big data feed that I can use to pipe into different spreadsheets; but on first look it seems like a lot of this data is missing (I mean Mint seemed to have a lot of this data 15 years ago). I was wondering if I am missing anything about being able to pull in additional fields, make custom calls, or anything like that?

Hello @mikejz, I’m not fully familiar with what the API’s permit in terms of data we can display. However, the beauty of Tiller is the flexibility. I personally added some Apps Script to my sheet to gain some customization.

You can ask the customer support team the specifics of some of the data that is displayed, I suspect that what you see is what we are able to pull.

You can out to our support team via the chat window in the lower right corner of the Console at https://my.tiller.com/

Yeah, you’re not going to be able to get that data, at least at the moment. Tiller provides limited transaction and balance data.
