Well, I suppose you’re right about that. I just want all my accounts to work; I have a couple that just haven’t all year, pretty much.
That’s tricky, some will be okay with handling duplicates switching between aggregators (at least in the early phase), and some will struggle quite a bit. Maybe for the beta testers, it’s okay to say “you will have duplicates”, so be prepared to handle them. And with more beta testers, more institutions will get tested
It’s sounding like a little progress is slowly being made here. I sure am hoping Canadian Institutions will be supported with these new aggregators! Will they? Or are Canadians still out of luck here?
The problem with Tiller stopping support for Canadian institutions even if Yodlee supports them means no aggregator will fix Canadian issues without being asked to by their customers!
You make a strong point.
When we test the new aggregators, we do search for the most popular Canadian institutions to check for support status.
Good to know. I’m hoping that my institutions will eventually be supported. They are CIBC MasterCard, VanCity (Personal) and HomeTrust Visa (ezcardinfo). MBNA MasterCard as well, but it looks like MBNA is actively blocking most aggregators.
Heather - will these new aggregators allow us to dive deeper into our balance details at Vanguard / Schwab etc? I want to know my holdings within the accounts, and Monarch Money can do this (I believe their feed is via Plaid).
I really need to use Tiller Money to track investments, but that’s currently a ton of manual updating.
@bcarroll thanks for your question and welcome
The intent with this isn’t about offering holdings, but that is our long term plan, yes. Thanks for the feedback about Monarch and it being possible there.
Thanks - definitely put me on the beta whenever you guys spin up holdings. I’ll build you guys the template for it if you do.
Any update on the status for new aggregator beta?
Thanks,
AHB
We’re making some progress on another aggregator we hope to be releasing to some beta test users very soon
