I donāt think yours is a timing issue. Can you try in an incognito browser session and see if that makes a difference? Iāve seen this even in the old UI so I donāt think this is caused by the new UI. It could also be the specific browser youāre using but if youāre not using a new/different browser thatās probably not it.
The other thing is trying to log out from the Extensions > Tiller Money Feeds menu at the top of the Google Sheet then log back in.
@ctlee - I donāt think this update would have affected the timing of the Auto Fill - most likely the refresh timing just changed for your institution so the Auto Fill didnāt have the data available to fill.
I suppose the system is such that the asynchronous timing issue cannot be resolved by doing something like disabling the Fill button until all refresh requests have transferred completely?
Hi, again, @heather . Unfortunately, not as promising a report this morning. I refreshed my accounts and waited fifteen seconds. When I initiated the fill process, no transactions came in. Same for after five minutes and then after ten minutes. I then went away for a little over an hour and when I came back, I had new transactions in my sheet. I suspect those transactions came in when autofill ran (this was all early morning), not because of anything I did. So, Iām not sure if weāve identified the issue, unfortunately.
Agree. I waited roughly 5 minutes and the fill process told me ā15 updates filled.ā No transactions came in and only 9 of my 10 functional accounts returned updated balances. The 10th is stuck in a refreshing spin cycle. Iāll try again later today.
Iām seeing a 15-20 minute delay between balances filling and transactions filling. I refreshed accounts on the console that were more than 24 hours behind. Balances updated and changed, so I knew there would be new transactions. When I did the fill, all balances updated immediately, no transactions updated. I tried at the 1 minute, 5 minute, and 10 minute marks. When I tried again at the 20 minute mark, transactions came through.
We are seeing a pattern of 20 minute delay in receiving transactions from Yodlee our data provider. So this seems to be coincidental timing with our changes to Tiller Money Feeds as that is a completely independent part of the system.
Weāre investigating and will reach out to Yodlee about it when weāve determined that itās truly not an issue in our system.
Heather - I checked to make sure I had the latest chrome, updated my browser and that still didnāt work.
Good news though - I also did the incognito trick and that finally worked. Any reason why? And do I have to do that every time I want to update my transactions?
If you read above (and based on a separate email exchange that I had with customer support in which they actually were able to look at the timing of how some of my transactions were processed), this seems to be a Yodlee issue that is coincidental with the rollout. In other words, rolling back the update wouldnāt help.
This morning, both my balances and transactions updated on the first attempt for my credit card, but my bank transactions were only updated on a second attempt about 1/2 hour later.
We pushed a change this afternoon we believe should address this issue. Please monitor how it works and let us know if youāre seeing transactions flow in more quickly after a manual refresh than youāve seen the last week or so.
@heather - balances and transactions downloaded together for all accounts that I manually refreshed this morning. Thanks for finding a solution to this!
