On the Monthly Analysis worksheet, I’d like to be able to filter-out taxes. I can see where the filters allow me to view only one group or category at a time, but is there a way to show all categories EXCEPT taxes?
In a typical spreadsheet filter, I could select all, then de-select a category such as taxes. Can anyone advise me how to do that here? Thank you very much in advance.
It doesn’t look like Monthly Analysis was designed to work like that. The only way I can think of to do what. you’re suggesting into create a group and put all categories except taxes into it. You could then filter by that group. Might work for this sheet, but then probably not very handy for any other templates.
One option would be to go to the Categories sheet and select Hide under the Hide From Reports column for the tax category. And then change that Hide option as needed depending on what you want to accomplish as Hide works globally in all reports.

Thank you. I was thinking about using groups but I’ve already got them structured for something else. I appreciate the idea though. I may adjust my groups for this or similar needs.
As @Mark.S suggests, you might be able to simply hide your tax category on demand to also meet your needs. Might be a less disruptive solution.
