Iâm not quite sure whatâs going on, @jacob80. I just tried the install in one of my spreadsheets and it worked fine. My installed did show the yellow âWarning: Some formulas are trying to send and receive data from external parties.â message but ran through to the end, showing the success message.
It definitely looks like yours isnât making it to the end (one of the install steps is to remove the âCopy ofâ prefix in the sheet name⌠and youâre also seeing that unspecific error message). Iâm pretty sure the spreadsheet with id starting with 1A02VOC... is your spreadsheet (not the template master) so Iâm not sure why it is failing to write.
I searched the logs for your spreadsheet id but the search turned up empty.
Iâm sorry I donât have a solution to offer you⌠but, again, the install worked on my test spreadsheet.
I have been using this for years. I am not sure what happened, but I am having issues. When I go to do the data override, then paste, it is not moving over the whole information. I copy and pasted into my transactions and then just manually added dates since it was not functioning appropriately. However, my monthly budget is not syncing now to show the paychecks that I pasted in. Here is what it looks like on the paycheck generator tab. I blacked out the values, but you can see it is only bringing over the 2 columns.
Hard to say whatâs going on. Iâm gonna guess itâs something to do with the formatting of the data in the first section (your paycheck information). Try choosing an older paycheck in the date override cell (AO5) and see if the correct data shows up for it. Not sure if itâs just a formatting thing, but my date override has a down arrow in it showing itâs a list, if thatâs not working right, it could point to another issue going on. My date override is in AP5, so maybe a column got deleted and messed things up? Perhaps copying out all of your data, delete the sheet and then reinstall it clean to try again.
Hi - Iâm a newbie, please forgive this basic setup problem.
Iâve installed the PDTG and entered my last paycheck, as directed in the setup questions for Section 1. However, when I move to Section 2 (by collapsing the + above column B), I see a âREF!â error in all boxes of column AI (âError: Reference Does Not Existâ).
Possibly related - when in Section 1, if I copy/paste my last paycheck onto lower lines as directed, the entry in column H, line 4 disappears, and only appears in line 5.
We got it figured out. For anyone else with similar issues, be sure to only add data to green cells (this is generally true for most Tiller templates). Adding data to grey cells will prevent those columns from working properly.
