I use a handful of apps like RecieptJar/Coinout that give you money for recipes. I assumed they used mechanical turk or something to turn the receipts into usable data (for market research, I assume) but recently I noticed that some of them are instantly matching the products on the receipt. I found dozens of services online that promise an easy API to take a photo of a receipt and turn it into usable data, most at extremely low rates. Has anyone tried using these? I love using ShoeBoxed with Tiller

For several years I’ve used ShoeBoxed (a web app/service) to scan my receipts so that I can verify each transaction from ShoeBoxed with each Tiller transactions that should have a receipt.
