I think a community template will work well for your inquiry to your data. The one that came to mind is the profit and loss analyzer sheet. I’ll link it below, but if you’re trying to make some pivot tables to answer your questions then you will in fact need to add some simple formulas at the top of your transaction sheet to aid in sorting the data. There’s a help article that details how to add these.
