Last week I noticed that the “total expense” wasn’t being updated when changing the “insights for” range on the “spending trends” sheet. Turns out, the value was pasted accidentally when copying the cell to paste into something else.
It looks like making this cell protected doesn’t have any drawbacks. Should all cells except for the few in the “insights for” row be protected in the sheet?
And a more overarching question, is there a reason protected ranges aren’t used more than they are?
