I recently noticed that my 401k balances on Tiller from Fidelity are all correct except one. I refreshed and 3 of the 4 show a balance matching what the Fidelity website shows. The other one is way off despite it showing in Tiller as being updated and refreshed. For weeks now the balances when refreshed show updated figures for the Roth, work savings plan and HSA but the brokerage balance says it is updated and yet is half of what it should be. And its not like I have different holdings in that specific account and it is just reading some of them. I have one ETF and the balance is nowhere close to correct. Thoughts?
I’ve also had this issue with our Rollover IRA account in Fidelity. Eventually it corrects itself, but at times it’s been off by a big margin. What I do for this is, I just go into the Balance History tab, search for that account, and I manually change the account balance for however many days it’s been wrong. You’ll have to do this each time you sync transactions and it updates the balance until the balance is correct. That’s my workaround for this and only takes 30 seconds or so to do. Not ideal but the workaround I use.
Actually, I said weeks but I looked and it has never been correct in 2 years so I doubt it is going to resolve itself
Hi @jefflawsonvb this might be particular to your Fidelity connection, outside of any outages that might have also impacted data quality. Please contact support and identify the specific affected account ; last 4 digits of the account number.
