Behind the scenes everything appears to be working even though the Console says it Needs Attention. This is new behavior since the last update to fix stale Last Refresh Dates on the console.
The Tiller Console is showing a Red Needs Attention flag for my Target Circle Card that is connected with Plaid.
The Last Refresh on the console is Sept 9 5:53pm. Balance History does NOT show this entry.
The last 3 Balance History entries for this card are Sept 9 5:33am, Sept 10 6:17am, Sept 12 6:10am.
The last activity on this card was last week, so I can’t document any missing transactions.
Target is not on the Institution Alerts page this morning (not sure if Plaid accounts are even on this sheet).
I tried both yesterday and today to edit the credentials, it takes me to a Target login, I enter my username and password, and it spins for a short bit and then says something wrong, try again later. I have successfully logged into my Target account with the same username/password combo, so I know that is working.
My Yodlee connected accounts are all showing good Last Refresh information.
I’m also having problems with my Target credit card auto-refreshing, which is connected via Plaid. It worked great for a while, but the last few weeks I’ve been experiencing this problem.
I do have a Tiller help ticket open for this that is ongoing at the moment and I need to respond with an update of my testing.
The issue I am seeing sounds different than what you’re describing. For me, the console and the spreadsheet match. And the only time I can get it to refresh is by editing the credentials.
On the console, does your institution display as Target Circle Card? Mine displays as Target REDCard. And notice how there is no Refresh button.
Mine also shows Target RedCard for the connection - I’ve customized my linked account to be Target Circle Card, so I use those 2 interchangeably when working with this account. Mine is connected by Plaid, so I don’t get a Refresh button for this account.
I don’t normally refresh anything on Sunday, but I just did to see what would happen. Another Target entry is in Balance History now dated this morning at 10:41
Interesting too - I have 2 Yodlee connected accounts that have old refresh dates on the Console but new entries in Balance History as well right now. I see this occasionally, but those 2 will update on the console within the next hour.
I did a Refresh All and a Target entry appeared with all the other Yodlee entries. Sometimes that happens and sometimes it doesn’t - I don’t know why.
This is a low activity card for us - probably 5-6 entries per month, and I don’t know what Plaid is looking for when it decides to do a refresh. It’s normal for me to see the account being “1 day old” but never longer on my Balances sheet. I seldom see Target at the top of the Console for being the “oldest” last refreshed account.
But the console is still reporting that it has been 4 days since it refreshed.
I don’t have the target card, but I do have another account that has presented the same issue as described. I can’t recall which on at this time, but I have had it happen.
It sounds like behind the scenes it’s not actually successfully refreshing, even though the balance entries show more recent than Sept 9th. Since you’re seeing an error when you use the edit credentials flow my guess is that it’s running into an error somewhere and can’t update the last refreshed time. The recent changes we made to the last refreshed were only for yodlee and only for the refresh button itself, not to how the last refreshed time actually works.
My Target Circle Card is connected using Yodlee and hasn’t successfully synced since 9/10. I was thinking about switching it over to Plaid, but it looks like that won’t help. It must be a Target issue with their feeds.
P.S. I used to work for a large financial firm before I retired and feed issues for aggregates were always a low priority for those responsible for them. It frustrated me then and frustrates me now. We’re pretty much at their mercy.
I’ve had the same issue since 9/10 with Yodlee as the aggregator for my Target Card. I have submitted a help ticket and Brittany is working on it. One thing to note is Target has not shown up on the Yodlee Institution Alerts yet after a week of the connection being down.
Update: As of Today, 9/18, Target is now on the Yodlee Institutions Alert sheet with a tentative fix date of 10/15.
I also received confirmation from Tiller support that this card is also an issue with Yodlee.
And it is now listed on the Yodlee Institution Alerts as of 9/16.
I’m in the same boat. My Target card has not been able to update for 10 days now. As recommended, I tried re-entering login creds thru an incognito window, but the result is the same. After hitting refresh, a Technical Error is returned before it gets to ask if I want the 2FA code delivered via email or text. I also have a ticket open with Brittany.
