Yodlee connection to Online Banking Accounts

If you are a BECU online Banking member and getting a connection error from Yodlee, I have this information to share. I contacted BECU and they sent me this message:

In February 2026, BECU’s monitoring system began detecting suspicious attempts to access accounts through the OFX (Open Financial Exchange) direct-connect function. As soon as we learned of the issue, we made the decision to turn off the direct-connect function in Online Banking. We recognize the impact to members who rely on this service, and we are working to restore this function in Online Banking, but no timeline has been determined.

There’s a banner on the BECU website addressing it:

“The Online Banking function that enables a direct connection between your personal finance software and your BECU accounts is currently unavailable. Our teams are working to resolve the issue, and we’ll provide an update as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

Hopefully it’ll be back soon.

BECU is back up. I had to reset my password but Yodlee is able to access my accounts again.

BECU was up for me until four days ago. Now the only message I get is “Max attempts exceeded”

I tried changing my username and password, same message.

I tried creating a new account by logging in with my wife’s credentials, same message.
