(Mostly) retired professional business manager and CPA. Been using Mint for a couple years to track personal finances. Also use Excel to review transactions and manage cash flow. Mint has nice features but I like the control that spreadsheets provide. As of today (11/10/23) I’m on day 1 of the 30 day free trial. My biggest use for Mint has been as a one stop shop for transaction and balance data fed from multiple accounts, but I also liked the analytics. Keeping categories usable is somewhat high maintenance. Tiller looks like it can do the data aggregation for me just fine, also it’s spreadsheet based so much more interoperable with my side spreadsheet, which I use for audit and control. I’ve been manually loading transactions in the side worksheet so I’m thinking Tiller can either be made to replace it, or at least to be able to avoid so much manual entry.
