A calmer Google Sheets dashboard on top of Tiller

I use Tiller, but I’ve always found the default views a bit busy when I just want a quick, high-level snapshot of my finances.

One thing that helped me was building a simple Google Sheets dashboard on top of Tiller that acts as a calm “home screen” — current month snapshot, income vs. spending, net worth, accounts and overall financial structure.

It connects directly to an existing Tiller spreadsheet by just pasting the URL and updates automatically as Tiller updates, so there’s nothing to maintain once it’s set up.

I originally built this just for myself, but I cleaned it up and decided to share it in case it’s helpful to others here.

A small, paid upgrade to the Tiller Foundation Template for people who want less clutter.

Screenshot below.

If anyone’s interested, I’ve shared it here on Gumroad for free:

Happy to answer questions about how it works or how it’s set up.

Looks great! This is excellent work.

Best,

@kade2 It does look real nice and very useful. I’m an Excel user and would be interested in a version for Excel.

I like the look of this! It is calmer. Thanks

Good job! Have you built other solutions that you find useful and are different from the community solutions already available? @kade2

looks useful where d owe find it

You need to direct message @kade2 for a link to it.

Looks neat, thanks for sharing!

The dashboard is neat, but it needs work to update some of the hidden sheets if your transaction sheet has any additional columns. I am sorting through that right now, but the simplicity is great. Thanks for sharing.
