Is it possible to set up new Groups and/or to modify the names of existing Groups?
It is, yes! It’s quite easy to do.

Hi @gdorsey671 , the Categories sheet is yours to edits as you wish. It is as easy as typing on top of the existing categories. I do it often. Recommendation to literally just type the new category and group rather than deleting the row or dragging categories around. Formulas get a little funky when you do that.
I’ve been playing around with this template trying to think of any possible expense and what category that might be. You can see how I’ve added more groups and customized what I wanted the groups to be.
I then turned these updated groups into a treemap graph.
