Adding history beyond the initial download

Hi there,
How do I add transactions from bank accounts beyond the initial download? Can Yodlee request data from a custom date range?

Unfortunately no thats not an option

You’ll need to go to each bank and download a csv with the transactions and massage them to fit into your tiller sheet.

Are you using another tool that has been recording your transactions? If so, you might be able to import that data. I was able to get 2 years of data into Tiller from YNAB with some manipulation.

The other question I have is, how useful is that old information. I’ve only been able to use it to help me create a budget from past transactions. I’ve not been able to get anything else interesting or useful though I keep trying.

@aronson @aronson - Ditto here too. I loaded my history from Personal Capital / Empower Personal Dashboard. I found having the previous years data very helpful for identifying the categories and initial budget amounts.
