I’m trying to use the CSV uploader for Amazon returns, but can’t seem to find the right file that matches the format. I don’t have the file name that is described in the instructions Retail.Retail.Returns etc. I’ve tried all the other files with “Returns” in the name, but they don’t seem to be the right format. My transactions are working beautifully - I’m just stuck on the Returns. Any suggestions?
Are you talking about this file Retail.Retail.CustomerReturns.1.1.csv that is called out in the sidebar help for that workflow? Is it possible that the file doesn’t exist because there are no returns in the Amazon dataset?
To be honest, Amazon continues to change the data provided. It is possible that the importer is no longer compatible with the data provided from Amazon. Over the past years, they have made this kind of import ever more difficult to do well.
Came across this because I ran into this same problem. Amazon has updated their file naming for returns. For our purposes, the filename is now Retail.OrdersReturned.Payments.1.csv which includes the order number and amount refunded. Is this still usable with the importer?
