AutoCat Failed to Run in Excel

I’m happily abandoning Quicken (and AceMoney as well) and implementing Tiller.
I have too many imported transactions (via ProperSoft) to use Google Sheets, so am using Excel.
Any plans to implement the AutoCat new functionality in Excel?
Currently Excel just says “Autocat failed to run.” with no further diagnosis when I click “Run AutoCat”… any ideas?

I’m glad to hear you’re happy having migrated to Tiller.

What new AutoCat functionality specifically were you wanting to see Excel?

As for the “Autocat failed to run" error, I’d recommend reaching out to our support team via the chat window in the lower right corner of the Console at https://sheets.tillerhq.com/auth/login. (They will probably be interested in some screenshots of your AutoCat rules sheet.)

Hi Randy,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I am thankful for Tiller, to be sure!!
As for the new AutoCat functionality that I was enquiring about, it’s simply what was introduced into Google Sheets here:
https://community.tiller.com/t/new-autocat-beta-features-in-the-tiller-money-feeds-add-on-for-google-sheets/5106

Any timeline to bring Excel up to speed with Sheets for these Autocat features?
Thank you,
Tim
PS I’ll reach out to Support on the “AutoCat Failed To Run” error as you suggested.

We don’t have a timeline quite yet, but thanks for asking!
