Over the last few days I have seen this intermittent error:
Bandwidth quota exceeded: pubsub googleapis /v1/projects/cracdb/topics/events:publish. Try reducing the rate of data transfer.
Note that the error includes a real link to the googleapis but I cannot include it in this forum post.
I’ve seen it for both:
- Fill Sheets
- Run Autocat
Any idea what the cause of this error is? Is this Tiller as a whole running out of quota which they need to increase? Or is this something to do with my specific account running out of quota?
I asked Google Gemini what it meant and got:
The error “Bandwidth quota exceeded: pubsub googleapis /v1/projects/cracdb/topics/events:publish” indicates that your application is attempting to publish messages to a Google Cloud Pub/Sub topic faster than the allowed throughput limit. The default publisher limit is typically 100 MB/s, though high volume bursts can trigger this RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error.
I’ve never seen this in mine. Are you running any of your own scripts or add-ons to Tiller?
Nope, I have no scripts or add-ons, just using normal Tiller.
I’ve never seen this before until last week, and I’ve seen it twice.
I saw this one time on my Tiller Foundation sheet a day or so ago, and wondered what it was. Haven’t seen it since.
@Subcategories can you send a screenshot of where you’re seeing this message? Is this in the activity logs on the Tiller Console for a specific sheet?
Our team is looking into this issue @Subcategories but I also suggest upgrading to Direct Fills as it seems to be specific to the Sidebar Fills sheet you’ve got running.
