I have a host of new categories with downloaded transactions categorized in the Tiller Foundation workbook. These are expense categories.
A few of these categories are not showing up on the spending trends sheet.
Am I doing something wrong?
Check on the Categories sheet whether you see a green horizontal line that is dividing your table of categories. This sometimes causes issues because Google Sheets does not recognize values in the table that are beyond the defined edge of the table. (Though if you were able to use them in the Transactions sheet, then this is likely not your issue but worth checking.)
And the new Categories are listed in the Categories sheet, @jerome.watson1988? Not just in the Transactions sheet? And they are not market as hidden in the Categories sheet?
Hi - I’m having the same issue. category was added by inserting a new line between existing lines in categories tab. it is not hidden. there is no green horizontal line. I’m using google sheets. thanks for the help!
Hi @lauren.valenta we recommend that you customize your categories by typing over the default categories you might not be using, or by adding new categories to the bottom of the list rather than inserting rows in between others. If you’re using Google Sheets you can restore to a previous version of your sheet before your edits and revise how you’re putting in the new categories. Otherwise please write in to Support for more help - using the blue chat widget in the lower right corner of your Console at https://my.tiller.com or write to support@tiller.com.
