I have more than a few accounts that I no longer use. Some whole institutions I no longer even need to check. If I disconnect them (uncheck the box) will their historical data all be lost?
I don’t need or want to see the accounts/institutions but the data is important to keep. What’s the best practice here?
Yes, @richl is correct, @susandennis. The Tiller Money Feeds update process only adds rows to your Transactions and Balance History sheets. It never reconciles or changes data that was already added.
Using this 4-year-old post to take the leap of faith and remove old accounts from the Connected Account Summary. But could you please clarify this “Remove Account” pop up when you make the choice to Edit / Remove account.
It is just saying it will stop the syncing of the account and removing it from the Tiller backend systems. It is also saying that the darts already synced to the spreadsheet will not be touched.
I know it’s a bit scary but your data will be there.
Thanks @richl for the reply. That first sentence should state just what you said.
“This will stop the syncing of the account from Tiller and remove the data from the Tiller databases, or backend systems. It WILL NOT remove any data for this account that already exists in your Tiller SPREADSHEETS.”
