Google sheets odd issues - missing validation and formatting on new rows and auto-cat being sporadic

A couple of odd things started happening seemingly out of the blue and I am not sure how to fix them (other than creating a new instance of the spreadsheet).

The three things are:

  1. auto-cat is only updating a random set of rows. Nothing has changed on my auto-cap mapping and the fields i am matching are coming in the same way but when I click auto-cat it either won’t update the rows or it will update them only if i click it a 2nd time.
  2. the money column and the category column both have lost their formatting on new rows. So when the values come in, the data validation is not there for the new rows on the category column and the money formatting is gone for the value column. I can easily copy the formatting and validation up to the new rows but obviously something is amiss that i need to do that every time i get new data.

All i can think is that i clicked something to make things stop working right but I have no idea what that could be and i have no idea how to fix it.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi @dan.g sorry to hear it. Perhaps something is going on at the bottom of your sheet, because in fact transactions are added there and then auto-sorted to the top. Interesting behavior with respect to AutoCat, can you try uninstalling the Tiller Money Feeds add-on and re-installing it? Otherwise please write in to support using the blue chat widget in the lower right corner of your Console at https://my.tiller.com with screenshots or screen recordings for context and we can take a closer look.
