@epsue , you might check out the Monthly Analysis sheet if you want something with quite a bit of flexibility on how you report month over month for certain categories.
Overview
Use this Monthly Analysis sheet with your Tiller Foundation Template to drill down and visualize your budget, actuals, or remaining organized by type, group, and category and get a comparative analysis of how your budget and spending have changed over time.

How to install the Monthly Analysis sheet

Install the Tiller Community Solutions add-on
Open the add-on and choose "Analysis”…
The other helpful one might be the Category Report
Overview
The Category Report allows you to drill down and get the transaction details, organized by description, for a single category over a specified time period with granular control over the amount range included in the report.
How to create a Category Report
You’ll need the Tiller Labs add-on for Google Sheets to generate a Category report

Open the Add-ons menu at the top of your Google Sheet.
Choose Tiller Labs > Tools > Create a report > Cat…
