I have accounts with the Minnesota State Retirement System (MSRS) that are pulled into Tiller.
As of today, MSRS has switched their backend provider from Empower to Voya. I have now created a new account within Tiller for Voya, and have successfully pulled data for the first time.
My question is how do I go about manipulating my data in Tiller to reflect this change? I do not want to have both accounts show up.
In the Tiller console I assume I would remove the MSRS accounts by selecting “Remove” from the account Edit menu.
Would I then go into the Transactions and Balance History sheets and remove all references to the MSRS accounts?
Thanks!
You can keep the old connection if you want, you don’t have to remove it, just unlink it from the sheet or if you already have all the historical data in a spreadsheet you can remove it from the Console. The only reason to keep it connected on the Console is in case you want the historical data in the future in a new spreadsheet (without having to copy/paste it from another sheet).
Then you’d want to follow the steps outlined here: How to handle duplicated accounts in my spreadsheet | Tiller Help Center
The name/institution will be different, but the basic “merge” steps are the same.

Thanks Heather.
I did remove the old account from the console. Then I created a new zero balance entry so that I will both retain the transactions from the old account, but have the balance set to zero.
Thanks!
