At some point I obviously made an error and Transaction Tracker and Monthly Analysis quit working. Trying to restore, overwrite or archive the sheets resulted in the “General Exception” error and I finally discarded the sheets (and the copies I had made). My basic sheets still seem to work fine - Transactions, Monthly and Yearly Budgets, Net Worth. Categories is apparently setup correctly per Tiller Help. My transaction Row 1 includes Date, Description, Category, Amount, Account, Account #, etc. I tried to add the Transaction Tracker and Monthly Analysis templates and still get the “General Exception” error and they will not load. Help!
I should say they won’t load correctly and work. The Transaction tracker shows a “False” error when dates are attempted, and Category shows “REF”..
Monthly Analysis has a Row 27 repeating “No Budget Found in each column from B rightwards. It does list categories accurately. When Yearly Budget is requested, all values are blank; when Yearly Actual or Yearly Available is requested, all values are “0.00”
Looking for guidance to be able to use these templates.
If your first row has been deleted and if you’re on the google sheets version you’ll need to probably need to go back to a functioning version and re-refresh
Hi @or3wilson it might be best to write in to support and share screenshots and address some of the queries raised here such as which platform you’re using and so on. Do you have 2026 budget in there already?
I am hoping to learn how to move to next year from the webinar next week..
I use Excel and have started a new template, again, which seems to,work OK, except it doesn’t suggest updates when opened with the Tiller add-in.

When you say in the new sheet it doesn’t suggest updates, you mean for filling the sheet? is your button just greyed out?
