I sorted my sheet by Description and made a lot of changes before I noticed that I lost the header in Row 1. I searched for answers and found how to the restore a previous version but I do not want to lose all the changes I made. Is there another way to bring back the header without losing the data I updated?

You could try creating a new Tiller spreadsheet and copy/paste the header row from it to your spreadsheet. If you added any custom columns you’ll need to account for that.
Also, try scrolling to the bottom of your sheet and maybe your header row is lurking there.

I am returning to Tiller after a 10 month hiatus after retirement and relocation. I simple forgot how to use the Transactions tab. I’ll call it a retirement brain fart as the sort moved it to the middle of the sheet and I just couldn’t figure it out. I’m glad I asked since it showed up after updating all of the info from the previous year and would not have been fun redoing it.
