Merging accounts due to merger/acquisition

Following the (in)famous acquisition of TD Ameritrade by Schwab, I’ve set things up such that my old TDA account went to zero the exact moment the balance in the account transferred to Schwab was first loaded. However, for historical balance tracking purposes it would make a lot more sense to simply merge the TDA account into the Schwab account - i.e. rename everything TDA to the corresponding Schwab…

I suppose I could search-and-replace by hand each account field, but that’s rather tedious. Has anyone built a tool to help with that? Thanks!

With column filtering and simple copy/paste, you’ll have it done in less than 5 minutes I bet :thinking:

Right, Filter and Copy/Paste should allow you to get that done in very little time.
