Recently; when ever new lines are added /updated it tasking a different font an number formatting that what’s already previously in the sheet; I’ve tried using the format painter to paste over all the rows; and then updating the header format but it still goes to a different front upon updating. Was there an update pushed. And anyone incur this issue before and resolve it?
i had an issue before where the conditional formatting was not being correctly applied, and i couldn’t edit it but only delete and re-create
Try looking at the bottom of your sheet, the fill will go there first and take the formatting from the bottom and then re sort to bring the newest transactions to the top of the sheet.
do i need to delete all the blank cells at the bottom or just make sure it’s consistent formatting, ‘cause technically when i pasted formatting all the way down, it should’ve covered those cells too
Yes I would delete any blank cells i believe the formatting may default if its blank unless specified into the blank cells. But if there’s no blank space then it will take the formatting from the cells above it
Just wanted confirm that this worked; i tried a history on the conditional formatting to see if it’ll also fix that (i didn’t) but at least that has a separate fix.
