Ooops! Deleted the sheet!

Hiya,

In my enthusiasm to clean-up my Google Drive, I deleted EVERYTHING (moved to OneDrive) and emptied the bin. However, I did copy the entire contents first.

Problem is, I can’t find my Tiller sheet in the backup.
Couple of Q’s:

  1. Is there a particular file extension for Google Sheets that I should search for?
  2. Is there a particular location that the Tiller sheet should be placed in the G-Drive?

I’m hoping if I find it and replace it, all will work seamlessly…!

Any pointers really appreciated. Thanks

  1. It doesn’t appear that there’s an obvious file extension. Google Drive shows

File details:
Type:
Google Sheets

It can be downloaded as various extensions though. How did you make a backup, just a copy to somewhere or using some tool?
2. It works just like any other G sheets file - I placed mine into a subfolder I wanted and named the way I wanted.

Thanks Evgen - I’ll do a search (it was just a copy, not a backup_.

You can also contact Google Support. If not too much time has elapsed, they can recover the “deleted” trash can items for you. We’ve had to ask for this kind of help before and they were very easy to work with.
