Hi, I have accounts that have not been refreshed for days and in the help it refers to either blue or white refresh buttons but I don’t see that option on tiller HQ. My accounts are connected using Plaid. Am I missing something? Is the refresh option hidden? Thanks.
I believe i recall that if your accounts are connected with Plaid, then the refresh button was not there yet. @heather is that correct? if you’re using Yodlee is looks like this.
Thanks Rich. I appreciate you responding. On my screen using Plaid the Refresh button is missing. Not sure how I can make / force a request when that’s the case.
Have you tried connection > edit credentials?
Hi. Not since successfully setting up the accounts. I tried it again after your suggestion and it essentially went through the Plaid setup like it was the first time and at the end of it the message in Tiller said the account was last refreshed seconds ago. Is this officially the way to force refresh for Plaid accounts? I searched the help files a lot before posting this question but only kept getting references to hit the “Refresh” button which I couldn’t find.
Thanks for your reply, this credentials “redo” seems to have the same effect, just would like to know now if this is what is officially recommended to Refresh Plaid accounts… at least it works
Thank you.
Hi @dp007 , Yes. please use “edit credentials” steps to refresh in absence of the refresh button.
Just to close the loop here, Plaid connections do not have a “Refresh” button:
- When attempting to implement the on demand refresh it was more complicated that originally anticipated
- Plaid automatically refreshes more frequently than Yodlee (4 times per day rather than yodlee’s once per day) so there is less need for the on demand refresh.
If there is a problem you can fix with the connection for Plaid you should see a FIX button instead of refresh.
The edit credentials option may or may not actually trigger a refresh for Plaid.
