Quickbooks Sole Proprietor

My husband just started an account with Quickbooks Sole Proprietor and they have a checking account through Green Dot Bank. I would like to track the transactions for that account in my Tiller (Google Sheets). I went to the console and found Green Dot but his QB credentials didn’t work. He can’t find anywhere in QB to see the actual username/password for Green Dot, all of it is managed through QB. Is there a way to add this account to my Tiller? Or, is there a way to write a script from QB to import into my Tiller on a regular basis? And, would I just create a manual account for it to import into? Thanks in advance for any advice!!!

You would need your bank credentials. When you opened your account you should have gotten account information, and with that you should be able to create a user account at green dot bank (at least that is how it works with my banks) and those are the credentials you need to log in and connect to tiller. Otherwise, I am unsure how you would get your information from quickbooks into tiller easily. In my quickbooks, I can download my transactions into a spreadsheet. You can probably do that as well, and then upload, but the layout would need to be matched for import. There is an import tool in the community solutions and the basic csv transactions import might work.

Yeah it sounds like you’ll need to add a manual account for this. Adding the manual account and CSV imports can be done via the Tiller console now.
