I continue to have versions of this bug. It looks like other people have had similar issues, but I don’t think this has been fully resolved: When I used a saved split that has a negative number for one of the categories, the final category does not calculate correctly. For example, I have a split for my Google Fi bill:
first split line: $68.68 (service fee and taxes)
second split line: $-33.30 (phone credit, which I record against my initial upfront purchase)
third split line: other Google One charges – and I leave this blank because it varies, month-to-month
The problem is that when I run this saved split, the third split is always off by $.01. This is not a rounding error per se (or at least not an obvious one). All that needs to happen is some basic addition/subtraction, but something is going wrong.
I think it probably has something to do with the negative number in the split because if I test it without this, it works fine.
Any one have any thoughts? Or is this a bug?
