Saving Goal More then 1 Funding account?

I am using the Saving Goal dashboard template and was wondering if there is a way to use more then 1 funding account for the same goal? I want to set up a retirement goal and add all my retirement (currently 2, soon to be 3) accounts together in one goal.

Hi @davey89,

The Savings Goal Tracker only supports 1 funding account. One option is if you can split your goal into multiple goals, then you could use a different funding account for each separate but related goal.

You can change one formula to modify the Savings Goals so that it uses the “Group” from the Accounts tab instead of “Account”. For example, I have the Group “2. Down Payment Fund” that has several CDs mapped to it. After modifying the formula, I set the Funding Account on the Savings Goals tab to “2. Down Payment Fund” and now all the accounts mapped to this Group roll up in the “Saved” balance. The formula is at cell P10 and should be modified as follows:

=IFERROR(LET(
g,SORT(UNIQUE(FILTER(Accounts!$O$2#,(Accounts!$N$2#=“Asset”)(Accounts!$P$2#<>“Hide”)(Accounts!$O$2#<>“”)))),
t,SUMIFS(Accounts!$J$2#,Accounts!$O$2#,g,Accounts!$N$2#,“Asset”,Accounts!$P$2#,“<>Hide”),
HSTACK(g,t)
),“”)
