Here is an updated version to try- Yearly Budget (1.1).
I updated how it pulls the Column letters from the foundation sheets and how it calculates the Actuals. At a minimum, it should pull the correct column letter for Category Groups in the Transaction sheet. If it does that but still does not correctly pull the Actuals, I’ll need to do some more digging.
Please try this out and let me know if it works.

I did a test. It stills gives the Num error looking for the Group column on the transacations sheet and it does not pull actuals, only budget.
However, when I add a group column to the transactions sheet, it’s able to find the reference it’s looking for in BB19 and identify the Group column on the transactions sheet. It also starts pulling the actuals per category, but the grey subtotal lines for each group remain at zero (might be 2 separate issues). The black income and expenses lines are good.
I’m having the same result as @PCB .
I’m not sure what is going on. I have never seen an error pulling column letter for Transaction headers.
Please send me a screenshot of your Transaction headers (A1 through the column that includes Group). For me, it looks like this…
Once again sorry if there was confusion, but we do not have a group column on the transactions sheet since the Core Transactions sheet did not have one when we installed it.
Did you add yours at some point, or was it already there?
I think most probably won’t have it either. I’d rather not if I can avoid it.

I got it now. I thought Category was a standard column in the Transactions sheet. I must have forgotten I added it a long time ago.

Great news. Once I understood that you did not have Category Group in your Transactions sheet, it was pretty quick.
I noticed a bug when you have Transfers, so I gave the option to include or exclude Transfers…
I also discovered another error in the Running Actuals + Budgeted.

Hi @Cowboy13 this is much needed as I’ve been hiding Monthly Budget for years now and it’s certainly slowing down my gsheet Tiller Foundation template as I’ve been adding new data in since 2021 (without removing prior years).
I’ve got an issue where it seems the Hide from Report in Category sheet is applied in visibility, but not applied in the total budget amount for each year. Do you have a similar issue or suggestion for where to best address it? I’ve attached some screenshots here that might be helpful

Nice catch. You are correct that I had not filtered out hidden categories for the budget numbers.
I corrected and link to updated version is in initial post.
FYI- I gave the option to include hidden categories in cell AS2…
