Google sheets, right?
How many rules do you have?
Do you have any rules using Category Hint?
Yep, Google Sheets.
98 AutoCat rules.
Category Hint columns do not exist on my Transactions nor AutoCat sheets.
+1, Autocat has not been running on fill for 1-2 weeks for me. It works if I kick it off manually.
I have 60 rules. I didn’t find Category Hint helpful, so I hid that column.
We have pushed a fix for this bug today. Let us know if you’re still finding Auto Run on Fill not working. Thanks!
Awesome! I don’t have any new transactions this afternoon, but I’ll check it tomorrow.
I had 5 new transactions today. All have AutoCat rules, and all five were categorized correctly on fill.
Thank you!
Yea! Working again. Thanks! ![]()
Still not working for me.
It’s partially working. When on my Macbook laptop (I use Mozilla Firefox and Google Sheets) it is working again. When I’m on my Windows laptop (using Mozilla Firefox and Google Sheets), it doesn’t appear to be working, I have to manually kick off AutoCat. Any ideas? Do I need to clear browser cache or something (and how far back)?
@dennism.smart and @YouBet96 can you please go into the Setting screen in Tiller Money Feeds and make sure that you’re seeing this release number at the bottom indicating you have the latest version of the add-on? There isn’t anything specific you need to do to get the latest version but we have seen cases in the logs where we can tell people are running an older version and if that’s the case usually just completely restarting your computer will reset it.
@heather Confirming I’m on release 18f401c.
@heather I wasn’t clear…I’m on the right release but AutoCat still not working.
Hi @YouBet96 are you still having trouble with AutoCat? If so, please send a new message using the blue chat widget in the lower right corner of your Console at https://my.tiller.com
If restarting your computer doesn’t update the version, is there a way to force it? I’m still having Autocat issues, and the version I see is d861686; I’ve rebooted my computer completely, but no luck.
@mkozlows that’s the latest build, release d861686 we pushed an update a few days ago.
I’ll have to try and see if I can reproduce it not working and re-open the bug. Sorry it’s not working for everyone.
I’m not able to reproduce this issue but I also only have simple description contains rules in the testing I’m doing. I would recommend reaching out via the chat tool on the Tiller Console at https://my.tillerhq.com and just ask them to pass to me for additional troubleshooting as I’ll need some more detailed information, screenshots, and possibly access to your spreadsheet.
I’m on release d861686. It’s working halfway now. Some transactions are categorized and others are not. When I kickoff AutoCat manually, the remaining are categorized.
So I went to report this, and the AI agent tells me:
The issue you’re experiencing with AutoCat not automatically categorizing transactions when they’re filled is likely due to the current limitations of the Auto Run on Fill feature. Here’s what’s happening:
The Auto Run on Fill setting is currently unavailable, and our team is investigating a fix.
Is that accurate, and it’s being worked, or should I click the button to escalate it to a human?
Hi @mkozlows it’s interesting that this was the bot’s response
it’s partially working. There seem to be some edge cases where it’s not working and I’m trying to narrow down why. It seems likely some specific rules/configuration in some folks’ sheets. So, yes, recommend choosing the “talk to a human” option and I"ll try to figure out why the bot is giving that response since it’s no longer “fully” down.
