Hi. I’ve been getting some duplicate entries lately. This time it was with Capital One. The last 3 months of credit card payments were recorded again. If it weren’t for the Data Checker tool I’d never have noticed them. It duplicated the payment transaction on 1/1, 2/1 and 3/1 2025. Today is 3/30/2025.
Some glitch at Capital One maybe? The Transaction ID was different for each entry.
I have seen the same on a few debit transactions in the last couple weeks.
I’m not alone. Thanks for the confirmation. I guess if I wasn’t using the Data Checker tool I’d have caught it on my monthly reconcilliation. Thanks to the community for creating these tools.
Capital One is currently on the outages list meaning our data provider is working on a widespread issue with connections to that institution.
