I installed the Monthly Analysis Spreadsheet and it was working fine for a few months, but no longer. The values are all 0’s now, and the date range can’t change from 2025 to 2026… Not sure if this is related to the change over to a new set of 2026 columns and budgets added to the Categories tab, but nothing is working. Thoughts?
In Excel, the Categories sheet header needs to be a special format and so you’ll want to copy-paste an existing header from the New Year sheet (which may be a hidden sheet).
This YouTube video shows an example.
Did that as shown in the video…. I can now see 2026 in the drop down, but there is still a problem with the budget data:
I don’t use the Monthly Analysis, but on the Year-to-Date Comparison, I had to unhide some of the columns to the right to find where I needed to make some other changes so the new year’s data was displaying.
@dhp12710 Daniel, did you get the issue resolved? If not, the error message is pointing to an issue with the budget in the Categories tab. Can you post a screenshot of the tab. Be sure to redact any text you want to keep private.
Hi Clint,
The issue is not resolved yet. However, I’ve started to explore the Simple P&L template, that does seem to give me the the information I wanted. So, I’m putting the Monthly Analysis debug on hold for now.
