New user just set everything up but my linked accounts never stop "refreshing"

Hi all,

I’m a brand-new user starting fresh today. I’ve gone through the process to link Tiller to my various accounts at my credit union, and that worked fine - I can see the accounts and I can see their current balances. However, none of my existing transactions are populating in my new linked Google Sheet, and the Tiller panel never stops “refreshing.”

I went in and edited the credentials for my linked credit union and completed the re-verification process (one of the tips I saw posted here) but nothing has changed.

What am I doing wrong?

UPDATE: I deleted all the imported accounts and tried again using the alternate sync tool (Plaid). This time it worked for all my credit union checking and savings accounts, but it doesn’t even see my credit union credit card - it’s not listed in the available accounts to sync with Tiller.

I used the default tool (Yodlee) to reconnect to my credit union credit card again, but that one account is back to just “Refreshing” endlessly, and Tiller is unable to pull in any of its transactions.

I’m so close - this is very annoying!

Update 2: I deleted everything and started over completely with Plaid first. I’ve created a Plaid account on their website and linked my credit union there - it seems to work fine, and I can see all my accounts in the Plaid portal (including my credit card).

However, now when I re-add my accounts through Plaid in Tiller, it only shows 9/10 of my accounts (credit card is still missing), it doesn’t import the account names or current balances, and it immediately gets the orange “FIX” button next to the Connection menu. Clicking FIX runs me through the verification process all over again, and then the whole cycle repeats from the start.

If anyone has any suggestions, I’m all ears - this has been an utterly miserable way to burn a couple hours of pointlessly going in circles :worried:

For plaid credit card, I am not certain, but it might not sync to tiller with the plaid connection (I believe loans don’t sync, so it might be for credit cards). As for the refreshing forever, I have one account linked with yodlee that takes a very long time to sync. Sometimes I give up, and check my tiller sheet anyway, and the data can be pulled in still even though it shows as refreshing. Did you try looking at your sheet to see if it came through? Also, can you try just linking the one credit card via yodlee and let the rest stay with plaid? I know with yodlee, you can choose which connections to sync to the console.
