I manually refreshed a connection in the Tiller web app and got an updated balance, but when I then try to fill updates in my connected Google Sheet, it fetches the old balance. Is there some way to force Tiller to grab the new data (and perhaps bust a cache)? Or is there some way to overwrite the stale value until the next update without breaking the sheet?
Can you clarify, @anonymous1 ? By “the Tiller web app”, you mean the Tiller Console at my.tiller.com? And you can see the updated balance in the Tiller Console but when you click fill in the sidebar in your Google Sheet you don’t see the latest balance in the (hidden) Balance History sheet?
Yes, exactly. Looking at the balance history tab, there is no new entry for that account.
@anonymous1 are you getting transactions for that account? There is a known limitation where the balance will not update in some instances if the transactions feed is not working.
If you’re using Plaid then we don’t get a balance entry unless there are new transactions available.
Normally, yes. I have a transaction history, but it seems like there’s a delay or some kind of caching before I’m able to pull recent updates. I have a transaction from that account as recently as yesterday in my Google Sheet.
Our support team is best suited to handle this. I’d recommend reaching out to our support team via the chat window in the lower right corner of the Console at https://my.tiller.com/
