Please Help: Update Balance on Manual account

Not Heather or the team, but I can say that I copy/paste manual transactions all the time. My main bank isn’t connected, so my regular recurring transactions I just copy/paste. I do update all the info that goes into the tiller sheet and change the transaction ID (I just added a letter at the end that I change each month) The only disadvantage I see is the update balance doesn’t get done, so I update that with the tiller sidebar. I have not connected my manual accounts to the console as only maintain one spreadsheet that needs to be updated, so I don’t find value with that at this time. As far as the other questions about updating the balance, it might have to do with the tiller console to sheet connections, which again I am not using for manual accounts. One thing that I do however is use the Account register template and dependent sheets when I do update my accounts and then make sure I update my balance to reflect the current account register balance as appropriate.
