I created an advanced AutoCat rule that somehow was applied to more transactions than I intended and now I need to back out and reverse what the AutoCat rule did so I can correct it and try again. I already tried to create a new advanced rule to replace the Category with a NULL value but that did not work. I welcome any suggestions and hoping there is a way to correct this. If not this might be a good feature for Tiller to add. Much appreciated.
Not as familiar with the excel version, but do you have versioning turned-on for this file? if so you can restore to that point.
Hi @stephan.harris2 we are sorry to hear that, there are some considerations when creating AutoCat rules including order of execution which might have been a factor here. I think if you haven’t already contacting Support would be best so that we can take a specific look at your rules and impacted transactions.
If you have versioning as @ctlee suggested it’s great for reversing such actions but it would still be helpful to get advice on your rules in case there’s something missed in the their definition.
