+1 for new transactions at top, and only for accounts with any
+1 for NOT auto-importing or using Archived accounts… this was awkward.

I am seeing the same transactions appear every day. In the past, the new transactions were Bolded or formatted differently, this allows for a quick scan of the new transactions. This new email has no such formatting. Honestly, I think there a lot of theoretical improvements in this new email, but losing existing capabilities makes the gains not so attractive.
Hey @richl thanks for your feedback here. We’re working on the issue where transactions are showing up more than one day in a row - that shouldn’t happen - it’s just a bug and we’ll figure out how to fix it.
I just started using Hello, Money. I really like it. Information is clear and easy to see all my accounts and current transactions. Good job Tiller team!
Mine was also toggled off yesterday but after toggling it back on it came as normal today.
Thanks for letting me know @bentyre1 - can you keep an eye on if it somehow gets toggled off again without you intentionally doing it?
Came in normally today I’ll update if anything changes, however I’m still having duplicate transactions from one email day to the next.
Also it looks like the transactions have been swapped to show first on the email which i appreciate. Thank you for that change.
We did make a couple changes last evening:
We’re still working on the issue where the transactions are showing up more than 1 day in a row.
We just pushed a change to remove those archived accounts from the Customize Hello, Money settings on the Console!
Everyone here is very nice and polite and this is my first post and I have no nice way of saying it but I just find the subject line “Hello money” tacky, nauseating, revolting.
The only thing I want to customize is the subject line. I want to unsubscribe so that I don’t see it any more. But I need the functionality.
Hi @mpascal – I haven’t tried this myself, so I’m not certain it works, but if you use Gmail, you might be able to create a rule to change the subject line. in Gmail,
Your new filter will now be applied to all future emails from the specified sender with the specified subject line. The subject line of these emails will be changed to the new subject line that you specified.
Is there a way to send this email to more than one email address? For instance, both my wife and I would like to get the daily email.
Today (24 Apr 2024) in the Hello Money email, I noticed for the first time the triple dot buttons to compress & expand various sections. This is a stroke of genius. Good job!
Feedback:
1. In my Assets section, there was no “expand” button. Instead, 9 accounts are listed with no way to compress them. Question: Is there some minimum number of lines before the section is able to be compressed?
2. IMO, the expand button located between the "Total Assets" and "Liabilities" headers should be moved down below the "Liabilities" header.
3. It would help if the Expand button changed its appearance when between when it is expanded and compressed. Maybe use a double-headed vertical arrow to indicate that expansion is available, and the opposite when shown expanded. Also, the text in the help tool tip should be tuned up for clarity.
4. I hope that the Tiller Console will be enhanced so I can set the default collapsed and expanded state for each section in the summary and each institution in the transactions.
Hey Heather, do you have any updates on the repeat transactions on the email? Will this be resolved soon?
Add Timpstamp
Please add the date & time that the daily email is generated to the report itself. This is useful when I try to compare or save several different daily reports. Having an embedded time-stamp is important for report completeness, to unambiguously show WHEN a report is generated. Relying on the time-stamp of the email is brittle.
@heather - the improved formatting to stop showing the account names and “no new transactions” is great. Much easier to quickly review the daily email now.
@Edward - that method you wrote about to rename the Gmail subject line is intriguing. I tried it but I don’t have an option to “Change the subject line”. I have many other rules setup to delete email to give them a label. But i’ve never seem as option to rename. I wonder if this might be an add-on feature, but I couldn’t find anything about it. Where did you hear about that feature?
Is there anyway to set up the timing of the account refreshes (and the Hello Money send). My case is i get the email in the morning, but the transactions that were posted overnight at the bank don’t show in the email, because the account hasn’t refreshed for like 18 hours. (Maybe refresh time is available somewhere and i don’t know about it.) My suggestion would be a refresh time setting for each account and a email send time setting. I’d set up my accounts to refresh at say 7am and my email right after…whatever amount of time needed for the new transactions to show.
Hi everyone, it has been awhile. Yes, I like the new format too. But maybe I am missing something. Lets say I have 5 accounts (probably not the right word) in my Tiller account. All five are included in the email. Do you and/or I need to thing to fix this?
For the daily email report, the old reports used to ONLY show new transactions since the previous day’s report in a neat easily digestible way. The new reports continuously show a mix of previously shown transactions (from previous day reports - going back several days sometimes) as well as new ones over a several day period, and categorized - making it more tedious to read through. Is there a way to make sure the report only shows new transactions?
It looks like it is fixed. Thank you Tiller.
