This really frustrating and I am seeing so many people shareing issues about thier issues with the data coming in. I assume another change was pushed recently. howver, like most changes recently it seems to create new and untested issues. Anybody else seeing this?
I haven’t had any issues with duplicate transactions (using direct fills). I just did a manual refresh, and that didn’t trigger any duplicates either. Are you using sidebar fills or direct fills? Maybe some others can weigh in and tell us which version they are using as well.
@richl please always write to us in support about these types of issues you know we’re going to be able to best troubleshoot and find the root cause there vs here in the community.
If the transaction IDs are different this is usually an aggregator issue (not a fill issue). I’m seeing that looks to be the case here.
We didn’t push any updates this morning that would have impacted the data feeds.
It looks like there’s just a duplicates issue happening with Chase (grabbed the transaction IDs in your screenshot to review our logs). We can escalate it to Yodlee, but I bet they’ll fix it ASAP as it’s probably more widespread than just you and not just Tiller.
Ok, then this brings up another issue I am seeing. These duplicates will be in your database forever. I recently created a new sheet and whn i ran the sync it copied about 30,000 transactions on the first fill. i dont have that many transactions. i can assume these 47 duplicates will get added to the list. Can we please have an option that only allows transactions from a specific date range to be synced. Copyting all transactions since 2019 is way too much.
Though I like getting more compared to less, I can definitely see where many people might want a predefined range of transactions imported (eg. Starting a new template for 2026). You should create a new ‘Feature Request’ for this!
I use Direct Fill, and I’ve had duplicate transactions with different transaction IDs from our Schwab checking account for about 3 weeks. It hasn’t occurred with any other account. Today and yesterday are the first days I haven’t had any duplicates, but frequently they haven’t shown up until the following day. I’m hopeful that Yodlee noticed and has corrected it, but I’ll be watching it closely after the long Memorial Day weekend.
@richl if you’re not expecting that many transactions I’d recommend writing in to support about it.
Yes you’re right that these transactions will persist in our database, but I don’t think the date range feature would really alleviate it if the transactions are being duplicated across the entire history of your account.
It seems like there is a problem with your account and we may be able to work with yodlee on it, but to clean up the data in the DB you’d need to remove and re-add that account for a fresh start in the DB.
@Rebecca.S I think you’ve been experiencing those duplicates long enough to write into our support team about it at support@tiller.com or use the chat. These are not fill related duplicates, but are being introduced by the aggregator.
Thanks,@heather. I have some recurring transactions on that account scheduled for this week. If any duplicates are introduced, I’ll ask the support team about it, but I haven’t had any since the middle of last week and am cautiously optimistic that Yodlee found and corrected the issue.
anybody else who uses Chase for Credit Card seeing duplicates. i got another batch of the same duplicates and more today. I will put in a support case but am interested if it is just me or others as well. very frustrating and a ton of work to cleanup.
I have some recent Chase credit card transactions, account connected through Yodlee and using Direct Fills function. I have NOT had any duplicate issues.
