🏆 Spending and Income Dashboards for Mint Trends Lovers

Your tiller foundation transactions sheet should have a column named Account and a column name Account # - both of those should be the exact word with no spaces on either side of it. Can you verify that in both the foundation and the dashboard? I am having trouble getting the dashboard to load, so I can’t look at it to help. That said, changing things on the dashboard doesn’t break tiller as it is a separate document that is importing the tiller data, it might break the dashboard.

On my Transaction tab in the Foundation sheet, I have an “Account #” column and an “Account ID” column. But there is no “Account” column.

When I go to Manage Solutions from the Add-on Extension, it shows that I have v1.0 installed which shows an install date of 8/15/19.

Is it out of date? Can I replace it and migrate over Transactions from this version to a new one?

Where do the account names populate then? I have account, account #, and account ID. If all is working well, you should have all the required columns. Do you have any hidden columns perhaps?
The screenshot show what I see in my sheet. Your column letters might not be the same as I have added columns, but you should have something similar. Also note the it goes from J to N > the arrows <|> are showing that there is a hidden area. Can you check your sheet against that?

The Institution column has the account name in it. I don’t have any hidden columns.

So I don’t know why I don’t have the Account column. How do I solve for this - add it into my existing Sheet? Start with a new Sheet and migrate over my Transaction History?

This might be a question for support. I don’t want to give incorrect steps and mess things up. You can email them at support@tiller.com

You can just add an Account column to your Transactions sheet, no problem.

It will fill automatically with new transactions, but you would have to manually populate it for your existing transactions.

I’ll give this a try @Mark.S and report back what happens. Thank you, Patty

Ok - I copied the Transactions sheet as a backup. Then added a column called “Account” to the Transactions sheet. I copied what was in the Institution column for existing transactions into the new Account column. It has been populating with the synch on its own from that point forward.

I’ll get back to trying out the dashboards now.

Thank you!

Do you have an Accounts sheet? Account and Institution are two different things. There can be multiple accounts within one institution.

You can also see these names listed on the Tiller console.

Here is an example using sample data:

Yes @Mark.S I have an Accounts sheet. The problem has been solved by me adding a column for Account in my Transaction sheet. For some reason, it doesn’t matter now, it was not there. Because I didn’t expect prior transaction details to get the Account column populated, I just used the Institution name for the historical rows. But this new Account column has been populating when my accounts/transactions synch now, so that isn’t something I need to continue.

The reason I was doing this was so I can take advantage of the Dashboards. They are populating now and no longer erroring due to the missing Account column. I may need to do some clean-up effort because Institution and Account didn’t always equal each other, but that is for another day.

Thank you
