What is the goal of your workflow? What problem does it solve? How does it help you?
Goal is to be able to pull Transactions by many different criteria- time period, Account, Category, Account Group, Category Group, Tag, Notes, Descriptions, amount, Institution, Category Type and other fields. There are 18 different fields you can filter byâŚ
You choose specific values for each filter or a wildcard search. For example, Descriptions for your Amazon purchases come in as many different descriptions, but they all usually contain âAmazonâ. You can search the Description field for "âamazonââŚ
There are many other examples.
I also wanted to be able to summarize and sort by different criteria, either descending or ascending order. You can do this for the following fieldsâŚ

This uses Transactions, Categories, and Accounts sheets. There are no custom scripts or formulas.

If you donât have a Tags and Note column in your Transactions sheet, it will ignore any criteria you choose for those fields.
